Customs Brokers Licence Renewals - 30 June Deadline

Dear {Firstname},

All Customs Brokers Licences ( Corporate, Sole Trader and Nominee) expire at midnight on 30 June 2006.

As we have been advised that at this time only 40% of licence holders have sought renewal , we urge all licence holders who have not completed the renewal forms and sent the forms and payment to Customs to do so as a matter of extreme urgency.

Those licences not renewed by COB 30 June 2006 will lapse and access to Customs systems to sign import declarations will be denied. A new application for a licence will then need to be processed. This time-frame can be three months.

If you have not received your renewal notice urgently contact Broker Licensing at brokers.licensing@customs.gov.au

Thanks and regards,

Brian Lovell
