CCN appointed as Strategic Partner for IATA e-freight Program
CCN was recently appointed as a Strategic Partner in the IATA e-freight program. IATA's long term vision is for paperless e-freight and e-customs solutions to replace the current paper-based processes in the air cargo industry. IATA is placing an emphasis on the Message Improvement Programme (MIP) module of eFreight, designed to improve the quantity and quality of messaging, focussing initially on FWB & FHL messages being sent by forwarders.
"We welcome CCN's participation to support the IATA e-freight Message Improvement Programme, support the pilot schemes and support the e-freight vision. As one of our partners, CCN will help develop global systems for trading partners which will lead to significant industry cost savings and add value to the e-freight solutions to be offered." said Mr. Aleks Popovich, Global Head of Cargo, IATA.
If you would like further information on eFreight, please do not hesitate to contact us at CCN. |

Are you MIP ready?
During 2007, the IATA MIP (Message Improvement Program) looks set to go into full swing across the industry. With most forwarders in Australia & New Zealand already at relatively high levels of FWB & FHL compliance, we feel that MIP implementation here should not pose too many challenges.
Naturally, CCN will be providing full MIP solutions to our customers, once final requirements become clear from IATA. In the mean time, to be ready for MIP, a reminder to forwarders to always check your FMA response messages from both CCN and the airlines/CTO's, which indicate successful message transfer.
If you would like any further information on MIP, then please do not hesitate to contact us. |

Yet another reason to eBook...
As some airline systems require a booking to be present before FHL messages can be successfully processed for that air waybill, making your bookings electronically via CCNhub is a perfect way to ensure your data is successfully processed. Just another good reason to eBook. |
