Claims on Customs for ICS implementation Compensation

Dear Firstname,

Further to previous information on this subject, AFIF & the CBFCA commissioned Hunt & Hunt Lawyers to investigate on behalf of the combined membership, further opportunities and possibilities for compensation from Customs in regard to the implementation of the ICS Imports phase on October 12, 2005.

The terms of reference given to Hunt and Hunt were expanded beyond those related to direct costs to examine the possibilities to claim for other related losses.

Everything hinges on detailed and accurate record keeping and the extent to which Customs are able to meet the claim based on the parameters and limits under which they are able to operate.
