Customs Announce New Deal on Sea Container Storage Charges
Dear Firstname, Further to representations by industry in various forums and by direct approach, it appears that one of the most contentious issues AFIF and the CBFCA have been working on in regard to storage charges on containers held up in the Customs Container X-Ray & Examination Facility (CEF), has been resolved. The CEO of Customs, Mr Michael Carmody has announced details of a new agreement reached with the Stevedores over storage free periods regarding containers sent to the CEF.
