Ending of Moratorium on Penalties Dear Firstname,
Further to our previous advice in regard to the end of the Customs Compliance Moratorium, we have now received the latest Australian Customs Cargo Advice Notice (ACCA) No: 2006 /12. Please refer below. Customs administrative moratorium on the issuing of financial penalties and/or the initiating of prosecution action under the Infringement Notice Scheme (INS) for import related offences has now ended. Information on this and the Infringement Notice Scheme can be found on ACCA 06/12.
