Freight Forwarding Customer Update - SYD
As we continue to transition the international import operational and customer processes within T1 (Sydney Freight Terminal 1) and T3 (formerly AaE international), and cease
operations at the T2 off-airport facility; please be advised of the following changes to the Qantas Freight international operations in Sydney.
From Wednesday 25 September 2013
- Any non-account import customer documentation will be processed at the T1 facility only.
- All account customers can continue to use the T1 and T3 import
Express Check kiosk facilities.
- All import documents for account customers will be placed in the
agent boxes at T1 only.
- All import bypass ULDs will be delivered through the T1 facility only.
From Wednesday 2 October 2013
- All import breakdown volumes previously handled at the T2 off airport facility will now be handled at the T1 and T3 facilities.
Reminder Note: The pick-up and delivery of
empty ULDs should be occurring at the T1 facility only.
Qantas Freight appreciates your cooperation and understanding while we continue this transition process in Sydney. It is envisioned that we will undertake some export document
and lodgement process changes which will be communicated to all customers during mid to late October 2013.
Yours faithfully
Robert Brown
