General Protections and Adverse Action Claims and the Fair Work Amendments.

This paid workshop will bring you up-to-speed on the latest developments and case law in the ever active area of adverse action, and equip you with the tools so that your organisation can take steps to prevent and manage these often difficult claims.

The workshop will also examine another hot topic (particularly in light of very recent developments in parliament) including the proposed expansion of the Fair Work Commission's arbitration power in relation to reinstatement, compensation and related matters.

Professor Ron McCallum AO, a member of the Fair Work Act Review Panel, pre-eminent expert in employment law and Consultant with HWL Ebsworth will provide attendees with valuable insights into the forthcoming changes to the Fair Work Act and Australia’s employment law regime under Australia's current and next parliament.
