As previously advised, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has stipulated that there will be mandatory training requirements under Chapter 1.3 of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code to the effect that all shore based personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods for sea will require appropriate mandatory training.
AFIF provides face-to-face Classroom Training for IMDG Code (DG by Sea) Training.
Course Description
This course is designed to provide an overview of the standards required for shipping company personnel, freight forwarders, store persons and anyone who deals with dangerous goods by sea.
