Dangerous Goods by Air Certification Training

Dear All,

We wish to advise members that whilst there is choice in regard to Dangerous Goods by Air Certification Training in the marketplace, not all companies who have been certified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to conduct this training are accredited to instruct forwarding company personnel in the specific requirements of their function. This aspect should always be clarified.

We would also trust that our members choose AFIF accredited training wherever possible for this purpose, as in addition to holding the requisite current CASA certification; we are also a global IATA Accredited Training School (ATS). Any Dangerous Goods by Air training certificate issued by AFIF will be accepted globally and the names of the person who has attained the certificate will be registered with IATA accordingly.

Furthermore, discounted fees apply to members and special arrangements and pricing can be negotiated for group bookings, either conducted at one of our training centres or at your own company location. Please ask us in regard to any of these options.

Please also remember that any margin on AFIF training is reinvested on your behalf in advocacy representative activities conducted on behalf of our members and helps to keep member fees at reasonable levels.

Please kindly also notify your HR; Training and Operations Departments of the above information.

Thank you for your continued support of our training programs.

Kind regards,

Brian Lovell
