Dear All,
 
AFIF invites you to enjoy a day of Ambrose golf at the Macquarie Links International Golf Club on Thursday 22nd August in support of Black Dog Institute.
 
The Black Dog Institute has four important goals - to diagnose mood disorders accurately and early; treat them using innovative; effective and accessible strategies; prevent their onset by understanding why and who they affect and reduce the overall impact of mental illness and save lives.
 
Their aim is to improve the lives of everyone touched by depression or bipolar disorder by focusing on the development of new and more effective, diagnostic, intervention and treatment strategies.
 
Our goal is to once again raise $20,000 for the charity and you can help by taking part in this fantastic day!

Where: Macquarie Links International Golf Club: Macquarie Links Drive,
Macquarie Links (just off M5 West)
 
Registration:
& Breakfast
7.45am - 8.30am
 
Assembly: 8.50am
 
Tee Off: 9:00am shotgun start
 
Format: 4 ball (best ball) Ambrose handicap tournament
 
Finish: The day will conclude at approximately 4.00pm following the presentation ceremonies, lunch and a charity auction.
 
Activities on the day
 
The AFIF Charity Golf Day isn't just a round of golf. It's a fun, friendly and interactive day with your freight forwarding industry colleagues. In addition to many on course competitions, we will again have a $10,000 hole-in-one challenge and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams, nearest the Pin, longest drive (A,B,C handicaps) and straightest drive.
 
Team Cost
 
The cost will be $950.00 per four person team which will include: breakfast on arrival; green fees; electric golf kart; practice balls; packed lunch on course and a buffet and function for the presentations following the game.
 
Individual Players
 
Don't have a team ? Individual players are also welcome to join in. The cost of individual players is $250.00 per person.

We are asking for a $500 donation in return for your company banner being placed on the course, or in the auditorium.

Can't play golf but want to join in the after game festivities?
 
This is a great chance to catch-up with your industry friends over a meal and a drink and maybe even snap up a great item at the auctions or raffles. The cost for the meal is $70.00.
