Qantas Freight are planning on conducting evacuation drills at the Sydney Freight Terminal next week.  The timing of the drills have of course been timed to reduce the impact on our customers and the industry . Details are as follows.

 

• An evacuation drill will be conducted at the Sydney Freight Terminal - Mail Handling Unit on Thursday 9 August at approximately 11.00am.
• On Friday 10 August, two evacuation drills will be conducted for the main Sydney Freight Terminal at approximately 11.00am and again at 3:00pm.
• Each drill should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. 
• Security will close the front gate and no-one will be allowed in or out for the duration of the drill
• Any visitors on site at that time will be required to participate as directed by terminal wardens.
