Open House Melbourne is a not-for-profit organisation that runs annual events providing the public a rare opportunity to visit places around the city that are normally off limits and this year the Port of Melbourne Corporation will be participating by offering free boat tours.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July, from 10 am - 3 pm, boat tours will be departing hourly from Waterfront Marina in Docklands. Each 45-minute tour will take up to 100 people past Victoria Dock, Appleton Dock, Swanson Dock and South Wharf and will feature a guided commentary from PoMC staff. Details are provided here.
This event represents an opportunity for the public to see our port and the various port related activities from a new perspective.
