We have now received the latest Australian Customs Cargo Advice Notice: 2012 / 07
The ACCA outlines upcoming major changes to the Customs Connect Facility.
As such, Customs and Border Protection will be hosting Industry Information Sessions in most states.
It is strongly recommend that all Authorised Officers and an IT person attend from all Organisations that communicate directly to the ICS.

To receive these and other ICS related information direct from Customs you need to be added to the "ICS / CMR Mailing List" by going to the Customs homepage under "who we are" then "join our mailing lists", or directly at: http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page4280.asp (through this site, access is also available to other mailing lists including dissemination of Australian Customs Notices)
Outage Notifications
Customs are looking to have a revised notification service in place in the New Year. Until then, if someone wants to be added to the outage notification list, they should email: User Support icsbus@customs.gov.au and ask to have their email address added.
