The Government has released draft legislation to amend the Customs Act.  The Customs Amendment (Miscellaneous Measures) Bill 2012 makes a number of changes to the Customs Act as explained in the attached document.

A copy of the draft Bill is also attached.

Submissions on the draft legislation close on 18^th October.
