See
us at the IATA World Cargo Symposium
CCN
will have a delegation in attendance at the IATA World Cargo Symposium to
be held in Kuala Lumpur, March 13-15th. This delegation will consist of CCN
specialists from Australia as well as our Singapore based Data Centre.
The IATA WCS is a major industry event that will provide an excellent
opportunity for members of the air cargo industry to learn of the very
latest initiatives planned for the industry from a variety of subject
matter experts.
As our industry moves through a period of substantial change with the
introduction of the eAWB and eFreight, it is critical for freight
forwarders to remain abreast of developments and how these initiatives will
be implemented in their home markets.
If you are attending the WCS and would like to pre-arrange a meeting with
CCN to discuss any matters relating to eBusiness within our industry,
please do not hesitate to contact
us.
Are
you preparing for the introduction of eAWB?
CCN are now working with a number of airlines across our region as they
formulate their plans and processes for the introduction of eAWB in
Australia. This process is vital to ensure that the operational and
data-flow processes remain fully synchronised and effective.
The introduction of eAWB is clearly the largest single change to occur in
the air cargo industry, past, present and future.
With the absolute reliance on data exchange to accommodate eAWB, we are
urging forwarders to take a vigilant approach to ensuring the successful
transfer of their FWB & FHL data, together with striving to constantly
improve the quality of their data.
CCN provides a number of tools to assist in this process, such as the
Gateway Report function on CCNhub. For further details, please do not
hesitate to contact CCN
Customer Support.
