AFIF "Round-Table Discussion" extended
to include
Changes to various "Customs Depot and Warehouse Licence" Conditions
Dear All,

Following hard on the heels of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service's announcement of changes to the conditions relating to Customs Brokers Licence changes, comes a widening of the changes to include Customs Licence Conditions relating to Depots and Warehouse License holders.

The new announcement catalogues a list of:
  1. 28 "Additional" and  4 "Specific" Conditions that  will be imposed on operators of Customs Licensed Depots
  2. 35 "Additional" and  1 "Specific" Conditions that  will be imposed on operators of Customs Licensed Warehouses
Add these to the additional conditions that have been imposed on Customs Brokers, compounded by the last minute announcement of the changes and you have a regulatory nightmare for holders of Customs Licences.

Confused? We are not surprised.
