Sydney Region Heavy Vehicle Compliance Monitoring

The Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) NSW have advised that its Heavy Vehicle Task Force and the NSW Police are conducting a joint operation in the Port Botany, Yennora, Minto and Chullora areas with a focus on:
  • Non compliance with Weight In Motion indicated readings;
  • Load restraint of cargo within the containers;
  • Condition of Truck and trailing equipment.
The Operation is named Steel 2 and is currently under way until further notice.
