AFIF has made representation to the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (CBP) in regard to the recent problems repeatedly faced by members in regard to the upgraded Customs Connect Facility (CCF).
CBP have been testing some changes but the results between the operation in TEST mode and the LIVE PRODUCTION environment demonstrates that they are out of Sync.
CBP will not make any further changes to the 'Live' environment until they can configure the difference.
The system is currently stable as CBP are manually re-setting the system each day.
We will be advised when the faults have been identified and when CBP are satisfied that a fix can be instituted in the 'Live' environment and revert to automatic operation.
We will keep you updated, in the meantime the manual re-setting by CBP may resolve some of the short-term switching to the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Please advise all concerned of this update
Thanks and regards
