Cargo 2000 System Offer to Members
Dear All,

AFIF have received advice from IATA that Cargo 2000 recently embarked on a review and update of its Master Operating Plan (MOP) - which is the basic process overview and description of key elements upon which the program itself is based. This review also included an update on the method of presentation and distribution.

In order to support the entire industry and drive the quality process forward, the C2K organisation has decided to make the new MOP readily available to any industry stakeholder interested in understanding more fully the key process drivers and activities that are fundamental to the program.  It is hoped that by providing free access to the process overview and descriptions, industry stakeholders will be able to at least consider key Cargo 2000 elements when planning, designing or revamping current or future systems.

It is recognised that becoming a full-fledged member of the Cargo 2000 program may not be for all enterprises, IATA and C2K would however like to provide all stakeholders with sufficient information and overall insight, to avoid creation of actual conflicting scenarios.

A PowerPoint Cargo 2000 slide presentation is attached. Please click here to view:

AFIF encourages its member who are not already working with the Cargo 2000 system to consider the processes used and whether this might be a good system for your business.
