Clarification of Security Declarations (SD's) and

Chain of Custody Statements (ChOCS)

Dear All,

 

As part of our ongoing representation of member interests in regard to Air Cargo Security Regulations, we have also made representation to the Government to help clarify the instruction around the issuing of Security Declarations (SD's) and Chain of Custody Statements (ChOCS) by AFIF members and other industry participants.

 

The Office of Transport Security (OTS) have today updated their advice and instructions in regard to this matter and the clarification can be viewed here:

 

Please pass this information to air cargo operators in your business.

 

We are still working on some other issues in regard to SD's and ChOCS and will advise in due course.
