Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation NSW Branch Breakfast Briefing Workplace Health and Safety Reforms

The Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation NSW Branch and the Refrigerated Warehouse and Transport Association NSW Branch have issued an invitation to AFIF members to attend a breakfast briefing on National Workplace Health and Safety Reforms to be held on Tuesday 14th February at the Breakfast Point Country Club.

 

The Commonwealth, State and Territory governments have agreed to implement nationally uniform WHS laws.  In NSW, these new laws took effect from 1 January 2012.

 

There are significant changes to the obligations imposed upon transport operators with operations based in NSW as a result of the introduction of these new laws. 

 

To assist you in being well informed on the changes in WHS laws, the Australian Road Transport Industrial Organisation NSW Branch and the Refrigerated Warehouse and Transport Association NSW Branch have agreed to work together to host this important event.
