Notice of Annual General Meeting 2011 & AFIF Degree Launch

The AFIF AGM, 2011 is due to be held from 4.00pm on Wednesday, November 30th, at the Function Room, Bonnie Doon Golf Club, Banks Avenue, Pagewood.

Following the meeting, we invite attendees to the Launch of the AFIF Undergraduate Degree - Bachelor of International Logistics (Freight Forwarding). The project is nearing the stage where student enrolments can begin in the first Semester of 2012. We would like to present a brief overview of the status of the project, its format and content and the future for the program.

Refreshments and finger food will be served from 6pm.

To deliver the full benefit of AFIF, your Industry body, we appreciate the participation of all members, both at the forthcoming AGM and by direct participation in the Association's activities.

If you are interested in pursuing a direct involvement in your representative body, please consider the areas that interest your organisation and whether you can assist one of the various portfolio sub-committees that exist to benefit our industry as a whole. Your efforts will not only benefit the industry but your own company may realise indirect benefits from your involvement.

Please note that any nomination for positions on the Board must be received at the AFIF Secretariat office no later than close of business on Tuesday, 8th November.
