June caps off strong year of trade for Brisbane
 

June proved to be one of the busiest months in the port's history, with two new trade records achieved.

A record volume of coal, 808,543 tonnes, was exported through the Queensland Bulk Handling (QBH) facility. The figure is almost 40,000 tonnes higher than the previous record (768,933) and over 100,000 more tonnes than the average monthly loading figure (approximately 690,000).
