The Workplace Relations and Safety Partners of HWL Ebsworth take the greatest pleasure in inviting you to our Workplace Relations and Safety (WR&S) “Year Ahead” functions.
 
At these sessions the partners will have the honour of formally welcoming to the HWL Ebsworth WR&S practice group, Professor Ron McCallum, Senior Australian of the Year and the preeminent Australian expert on workplace relations and safety.
 
Following this, we will review recent workplace relations and safety developments that are likely to significantly impact on your organisation during 2011, including:

    • The Risks of Not Updating Policies, Correspondence and Forms

  • General Protections and Adverse Action:  the Evolution of New Rights Under the Fair Work Act
 
Professor McCallum will then share his insights into the operation of the Fair Work Act in its first full year and his predictions and guidance about the key opportunities and challenges for employers and their human resources teams for 2011.

The session will be followed by an opportunity for you to catch up with Professor McCallum, our partners and network with fellow HR practitioners.
