Disaster Recovery We have seen a number of local and global natural disasters in the last few months. What happens if your business is hit by one of these. In this session we will hear from a number of speakers who will provide case studies and professional advice to assist your business prepare for such disasters.

Legal Implications for your business The law is changing in many ways and you need to know how these changes will affect your business and those you manage. Are you aware of the implications of the new National Workplace Health and Safety Laws; Paid Parental Leave; the Fair Work Act and the new Competition and Consumer Act. Steven Penning, Partner at HWL Ebsworth will present the main points of these new laws and will highlight issues that you must be aware of.

GETTING TO HAMILTON ISLAND Please note, the conference is being held in the school holiday period for NSW and Victoria and flights to and from the island in this period will be very busy!
Both Jetstar and Virgin Blue have daily direct flights from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane direct into Hamilton Island. Alternatively, you can fly to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and connect to a Ferry transfer to the Island. Fares are currently available from $79 from Brisbane, $159 from Sydney and $179 from Melbourne (one way on Jetstar).
GOLF Golf is strictly limited in numbers this year and spaces are already filling quickly. This game is being held on Thursday 14th July (departing at 11.00am) and the committee expect it will become oversubscribed and that a standby/reserve list will be necessary . If you are keen to join in the golf at BAFA2011, we suggest you register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
If you are interested in sponsoring a golf hole, there are only a few of these still available so don't hesitate to contact the Conference Secretariat to reserve your company team.
ACCOMMODATION As it is school holiday time, accommodation will fill quickly and alternatives to the main resort are limited during this period. Book early to avoid disappointment.
