I am pleased to announce the appointment of Maryanne Galea to the role of Regional Sales Manager Australia and New Zealand. The appointment is effective 01 November 2011.

Maryanne returned to Qantas Freight in 2008 as the global Customer Service Manager following a period working internationally. She brings to the role over 25 years’ industry experience working in senior roles within both airline and freight forwarding organisations.

Maryanne has been a key part of the sales and marketing team over the last four years. Her appointment ensures leadership continuity for our customers in Australia and New Zealand. In her new role, she will play an important role in bringing together the commercial aspects of our customer service vision and sales goals in the region.

The vacant Customer Service Manager role will be advertised shortly. Maryanne will continue to oversee this area until the position is filled.
