Following a meeting between AFIF and Toll Dnata CTO earlier this week, Toll senior management has decided not to continue to apply the revised ULD storage charges as had been proposed, with effect from today.
ULD storage fees will now revert to the previous arrangement that existed prior to 01 May 2011, namely there will be free storage on ULD's until midday the day after arrival.
Toll Dnata will issue a further statement to clarify to AFIF the specifics of the changes next week.
In the meantime, Toll Dnata customer service staff have been informed to only apply the storage charges as per the above notice.
We would like to thank Toll Dnata for their consultation and consideration of the industry concerns and we share the view that this is a positive outcome for all parties.
We will issue a copy of the further official notice next week.
Please advise all concerned
Thanks and regards,
