| Qantas Freight customers affected by grounding of aircraft |

Dear {Firstname}, On behalf of our members, AFIF has made enquiries of Qantas Freight senior management in regard to their policy for cargo customers affected by the grounding of aircraft for 48 hours last weekend. As you would be aware, Qantas has already made public announcements in regard to compensation for passengers inconvenienced by the grounding and we would therefore hope some consideration would be extended to cargo customers. We have received the attached advice from Mitch Wild, Head of Global Freight Sales and Marketing for your information and action, as appropriate. Please notify all concerned.
