An AQIS notice has been issued to advise industry of the outbreak of Newcastle Disease (ND) in France.

This outbreak has an impact on the importation of commodities such as processed meat (e.g. shelf stable hermetically sealed/retorted meat); biological products produced from ND-susceptible species (e.g. veterinary and human pharmaceuticals, laboratory reagents); biological products from non-susceptible species; processed canned and dried pet food and second hand farming equipment.
