Export volumes continue to drift this month with perishables showing no growth since 2006, averaging around 11 000 tonnes a month at this time of the year.

Imports on the other hand are rising strongly. Having peaked in August 2007 and dropping off during the GFC, total imports this month passed 41 800 tonnes.
