| Closure of Bumbora Point and Botany Road, Pt Botany intersection |

Location: Bumbora Point and Botany Road, Pt Botany intersection Issue: Planned closure late Saturday evening February 6 extending into the following Sunday morning Feb 7 Short Description: Sydney Ports wishes to remind Industry using Bumborah Point, Simblist and Friendship Roads (and the roads they feed), that the Botany Road and Bumborah Road intersection will be closed and that vehicles will be detoured in and out of the area via Botany, Bunnerong and Military Roads. The DPWorld terminal will remain operational. Carriers are advised that Super B's or B-Doubles do not have authority to use Military Road. Whilst the Bumborah Point and Botany Road intersection is closed, the aforementioned roads themselves remain open, however Super B's or B-Doubles will either be "locked-in or locked-out" of the area described, once works commence. Issue Impact: Authorised closure of above intersection late Saturday evening February 6 extending into the following Sunday morning February 7 Duration of Delay: 0 days 9 hrs 0 min. Issue Commencement: 06/02/2010 21:00 Expected Resolution: 07/02/2010 06:00 Resolution Action: Sydney Ports urges industries effected by the closure to review their vehicle operational requirements, advise staff & route vehicles accordingly. Additional traffic management plans, notice boards & traffic marshals will also be put in place to assist traffic control.
