Get more with the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations this year:

The 52nd edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations incorporates all amendments made by the Dangerous Goods Board and includes all changes, as they are known, to the 2011-2012 edition of the ICAO Technical Instructions. Without access to these substantive changes those using outdated versions of the DGR are very liable to tendering and accepting shipments that are not in compliance and significantly increase the chance of delays, fines and potentially disastrous safety accidents.

  • All new reformatting of the packing instructions in Classes 3,4,5,8 and 9 and Division 6.1 making previous editions of the DGR unusable.
  • New entries in the List of Dangerous goods will change how shippers potentially classify their substances - making them easier or more difficult to transport.
  • Changes to the special provisions that make shipments either more or less restrictive that all users must be aware of when preparing or accepting a shipment.
