Welcome to the June edition of Smart Workplace.

What a month we've had. The past 4 weeks have seen a $26 a week increase to the Federal Minimum Wage, View Special Alert re wage increase on 3/6/10 here the Labor Government's Paid Parental Leave Bill 2010 was introduced and has continued its passage through Federal Parliament, and is well on its way to becoming law and we've only got more to come with the first stage of the transition to full rates of pay, loadings and penalties in most modern awards to commence next month on 1 July 2010.

In this edition of the New Workplace we introduce you to the latest White Paper from FCB HR's resident HR Specialist "Why bad things still happen at good places to work".
