Issue: Ongoing Terminal Delays at DPW, Port Botany
Short Description: Sydney Ports has been in regular contact with DPW regarding the ongoing truck delays at Port Botany. DPW has advised that there was a system outage during the night which has caused the delays. At 0830, DPW has advised Sydney Ports that the system has been restored and is operating normally and trucks are now moving in. Sydney Ports is continuing to monitor the queue delays and has requested DPW to provide further updates during the morning including any cancellation of slots if the situation does not improve.
Sydney Ports has allocated a traffic marshal on site at DPW and additional marshals have been arranged to manage the queue and will be on site this morning. Additional Sydney Ports staff have also been dispatched to DPW to assist with the queue management. Please follow their instructions
Sydney Ports has requested DPW to provide water to truck drivers in the queue. Sydney Ports staff will also be providing water to truck drivers.
Sydney Ports will provide further updates during the morning.
