Issue: Continued congestion/Police Notified

Short Description of the Issue:

In light of recent delays at the Patrick Terminal, Sydney Ports is taking necessary steps to ensure the whole Port Precinct is not adversley affected.

It is understood that the Patrick queue continues to extend onto Botany Road.

Impact of the Issue:

Police have been notified.

Sydney Ports traffic marshall resources and SPC staff are on-site to assist with the situation.

Sydney Ports asks carriers to follow the instructions of the traffic marshall and observe road regulations when in the port precinct.

Duration of Expected Delays: Three+ hours

Commencement time of the issue: 3.15 pm Monday 19 October 2009

Approximate time to resolve the issue: N/A

Resolution action: Sydney Ports will continue to actively monitor the situation and update accordingly.
