Continued congestion at MT Parks within the Port Botany Precinct and the Sydney region.
Impact of the Issue:
Sydney Ports is in discussions this morning with MT operators and shipping lines, through SAL, to investigate a solution to the current problems, including alternative short-term storage options and the use of handling equipment.
Sydney Ports reminds shipping lines and MT operators that timely communication should be adhered to regarding any congestion, capacity or redirection issues for the transport industry, to ensure efficiency and consistency of operations through the whole logistics chain.
