The Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of
Australia Inc. (CBFCA) would like to advise members that Semester
1 enrolments are now open for the National Customs Brokers Course
(NCBC). The semester commences on Monday, 1 February 2010 and
enrolments will be accepted until 28 November 2009.
The NCBC offered by the CBFCA is the highly
regarded course of study approved by the Australian Customs and
Border Protection Service as the pre-requisite course for
licensing as a customs broker in Australia. The NCBC is a fully
facilitated program combining the experience of some of the most
highly skilled professionals in industry as lecturers with the
use of world-class, innovative virtual classroom technology. This
means the learning site is accessible from anywhere in Australia
or the world via the Internet providing students with the ability
to study at a time and place that suits them.
The NCBC offers all of the eleven units of the
course in each semester thereby ensuring that students will be
able to progress seamlessly through the course without delay.
Note that current students from TAFE who find that their
preferred unit(s) of study are unavailable through their college
in semester 2 are welcome to apply for access to specific unit(s)
of study in the NCBC if this will assist their progress through
their own course. As a Government-accredited Registered Training
Organisation, the CBFCA can guarantee that all study units
undertaken in the NCBC will be fully recognised by TAFE
colleges under the credit transfer process of mutual recognition.
Likewise, any study units completed through TAFE will also be
recognised by the CBFCA for credit in the NCBC.
Please be aware however class numbers are limited
to ensure all students receive the best possible tuition so
persons considering enrolment should register today to avoid
disappointment.
If you have not already done so, please take the
time to read the NCBC Frequently Asked Questions.
