IATA has recently changed the way in which they have sent out the CASS billings in that it required agents to download the information instead of receiving it as an attachment. This created a lot of complaints from members and Brian Lovell and I raised the matter with IATA at the recent FIATA conference in Geneva.

 

We are pleased to advise that we have had confirmation IATA will revert back to the old system effective immediately and that all future billings will be sent as attachments. Some of you may well have received a new billing today but with a cover letter stating this format will stop in October. This letter is in fact incorrect and the attachments will continue to be sent.
