All inclusive pricing rules – ACCC guidelines just released |

As you
will be aware from recent updates, new all inclusive pricing rules in the Trade Practices Act come
into effect from 25 May. The ACCC
has just released four publications setting out its interpretation of the new
rules. The publications comprise a general guide to the all
inclusive pricing rules plus individual publications for each of the travel
industry, the motor vehicle industry and the electrical goods, white goods
and furniture industries. Copies
of each of the guides can be downloaded here. We will
issue a further updates commenting and highlighting key points in the ACCC's
interpretations of the new rules shortly. |
