| AFIF ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF DAY 2009 | ||||||||||||

It's that time of year again and we can't wait to see you at the AFIF Annual Industry Charity Golf day being held at Macquarie Links Golf Course on August 13th this year. Last year's event was a great success, raising in excess of $20,000.00. This year's beneficiary will be Alzheimer's Australia, to support research for the prevention, cure and care of this disease which has affected so many. Details
Prizes There will be prizes for first, second and third teams plus the "Bradman Award" (highest score). There will also be chances to pick up prizes on some novelty holes and games throughout the day. Team Cost The cost will be $850.00 per four person team which will include: breakfast on arrival; snack pack on course; green fees; electric Golf Kart; practice balls; and a presentation lunch following the game. A portion of this fee will also include entry to all AFIF on-course golf competitions and the club-house raffle. For the teams who would like to show their support in another way there are Hole Sponsorships on offer for $500.00 which allows your organisation to place a banner at the hole on the day. We will also be conducting a major prize fund raising raffle prior to the event and on the day there will be a charity auction (both bidding and silent). We aim to raise $20,000 to target the fight against Alzheimer's disease and other dementias through research, education, awareness and advocacy.
