Following the inaugural AFIF 'Young Achiever' competition and award last year, culminating in an award to Bobbie Sloane of Halfords Intl (now Mainfreight), we will once again be seeking nominations from young Freight Forwarders (refer conditions) and the winner will be invited to attend the AFIF National Conference in Hobart between May 6 and 8, 2009 as our guest. We have re-titled the competition to align ourselves with FIATA and their global competition.

 

There will be one winner selected from all applications received throughout Australia. Applicants will be judged by a sub-committee of AFIF on the quality of their submission. Relevant publicity will accompany the award and the winner will also earn the right to enter the FIATA/TT Club Young International Freight Forwarder of the Year competition, resulting in a chance to attend the FIATA World Congress in Cairo in 2010 and associated rewards.
