Qantas Computer System Down

We have received the following advice from Customs Cargo Support in regard to requests for urgent cargo clearance due to problems which QANTAS are currently experience with their computer system.

QANTAS has advised the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service that their entire internal computer system has gone offline. At this point in time we have no further information to the length of time they are expected to be offline.

For Urgent Cargo Clearance:

To request an urgent cargo clearance, the cargo must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Cargo may miss it's carrier (export flights/vessels, truck booking system)
  • Perishable goods will be damaged if subjected to delay, or
  • Cargo requires immediate delivery (e.g. urgent medical supplies, hazardous materials and livestock)

If your cargo meets one of the above criteria, phone 02 6275 6100.

Further updates will be provided shortly.
