Vicki Hughes from Air Pacific is coordinating a special appeal for the victims from our industry of the recent Fiji Floods.

The Nandi area in particular has been severely affected and many homes occupied by aircargo industry participants have literally been washed away, leaving these families with no clothing, food or household items.

Air Pacific, in conjunction with Qantas will be coordinating airlifts of items donated by the community to the affected families and therefore we can make a direct contribution to the aid effort.

On behalf of Air Pacific and our industry can we ask that you ask staff members, family and friends to collect up and box items of a non-perishable, non-hazardous nature including clothing, tinned food, blankets /bed-linen, other small house wares and then contact Vicki Hughes to arrange for collection and /or delivery to the nominated point.
