As a member of TIACA we have been advised of an article on the latest update to the new requirement by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for importers to submit an electronic security filing prior to loading cargo onto vessels, which will be of interest to those members who have customers involved in Exports to the USA.

Also, whilst the new regulation currently applies only to maritime shipments, it could potentially be rolled out to other modes, including air.
