On behalf
of CBAFF, I look forward to welcoming delegates from around the Asia
Pacific Region to our 2009 Conference in Gisborne.
Gisborne is renowned for its sub-tropical summer
days, long hours of sunshine and warm temperatures. As the most easterly
city in New Zealand, Gisborne attracted global attention on 1 January 2000
as the first city in the world to welcome the new millennium.
The conference theme “A New Dawn” will
provide a unique forum to address issues and concerns which will affect the
New Zealand Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokering, Logistics and Transport
industries in the future. CBAFF has brought together key government and
industry figure-heads to lead discussions on upcoming economic, regulatory
and technology changes and how they are likely to impact on the industry.
Take the
opportunity to attend our 2009 Conference and gain a better insight into
the challenges our dynamic industry faces, to share thoughts and ideas with
other delegates, and meet with current and potential business partners to
develop new business relationships and gain more of a competitive
edge.
Looking
forward to seeing you in Gisborne
Willie van Heusden
