As outlined in our Bulletin of October 27th, the Australian Federation of International Forwarders Ltd (AFIF) and Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia Inc. (CBFCA) are progressing through a structured process towards formation of a Single Industry Body (SIB) to represent Australian service providers involved in international trade logistics and supply chain management.

To that end, the Chairmen of AFIF and the CBFCA today advised that the parties have appointed Morrison Low Consultants Pty Ltd to facilitate the preliminary work as to the formation of a new entity.
