AFIF recently delivered member information seminars, in conjunction with leading law firm Blake Dawson, covering aspects of the Trade Practice Act including details of what activities might constitute anti-competitive behaviour and misleading and deceptive conduct. We also confirmed that the Board of the Federation had also received detailed and private briefing on the subject.
We are now providing some additional information summaries to assist you in ensuring that, in carrying out their business activities, your management and staff are familiar with these aspects of trade practice laws.

Please distribute these documents to relevant personnel as you deem appropriate.
Furthermore, awareness and practical application of such laws may also assist members to feel more comfortable in attending various meetings, social gatherings and conferences organised by your representative Federation.
Members can be assured that our Federation and it's Board, committees and working groups and all representatives will continue to abide by these laws.
Thank you and regards,
