On 29 August, a new electronic Import Permit application system, ePermits, will be available for eligible commodities.

ePermits is similar to the existing eLodgement facility, in that clients can lodge Import Permit applications online. However, ePermits is also able to issue electronic Import Permits (for eligible Import Permit applications).
