The Commission has received applications from Qantas Airways Limited (Qantas) and Pacific Blue Airlines, seeking renewal of a number of determinations allocating capacity on various routes. The routes involved are: Germany, Hong Kong, Thailand, Italy, United States, China, Japan, Greece, Vanuatu, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa and Singapore for Qantas; New Zealand, Fiji and Vanuatu for Pacific Blue Airlines. Further details of the determinations involved are available from the Commission’s website. Applications for capacity on these routes are invited. A copy of the applications and links to the Commission’s procedures and requirements are also available from the Commission’s website: http://www.iasc.gov.au under “Current Cases”. The closing date for notice of intention to apply is COB 13 September 2007. For
the cases above, after notification of intention, applicants have a further five
working days to make a full application unless additional time is sought and
agreed to by the Commission. If no notice of intention is received by COB
13 September 2007, the Commission may proceed to decide the matters under
consideration as soon as practicable after that
