1. FHL's now required for shipments destined Malaysia

Further to recent advices to the industry from airlines flying to Malaysia, we would like to re-iterate the requirement to now send FHL messages for consolidations destined Malaysia.

Production trials are currently under-way with Malaysian Customs, with the new procedures officially commencing on October 1st. To allow effective compliance to the new Customs requirements, airlines are requesting that all consolidations destined to Malaysia have FHL messages provided prior to flight arrival in Malaysia.

CCN have requested industry software providers to make the appropriate changes at their side. For further information, please contact CCN Customer Support.

2. Make your shipment tracking a breeze...

CCN is pleased to announce that our latest shipment tracking facility is now available. Called My Shipments Export, this service allows you to view the current status of all your shipments on a single screen at the one time, across multiple carriers. You can then drill down on a single shipment if you wish to view the entire status history of the shipment.

You can also configure the system to send an automatic email each time the shipment status changes. Using the principles of Cargo 2000 monitoring, My Shipments Export utilizes the FSU (Freight Status Update) messages being returned from airlines and CTO’s to update the status information. Simply make your cargo bookings electronically via CCNhub, and your shipments are automatically included in your shipment list.

With My Shipments Export you’ll always have the very latest shipment status on hand for your cargo, helping to improve your service to your customers. For further information on eBookings and My Shipments Export, please contact CCN Customer Support.

Cargo 2000 is now clearly recognized as the global quality initiative for the air cargo industry, and CCN is pleased to participate in the program in Australia and across the many other countries where CCN operates.

5. Please keep checking those response messages

Yet again, we would like to remind all our customers of their responsibility to monitor the FMA or FNA response messages that come back from CCN, as well as the airlines and CTO’s. Your data must pass validation checks to be processed, and checking your FMA and FNA messages is to only way to be sure validation has been successful.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions in regards to FMA or FNA responses.
